18-11-2014 The Hague King Willem-Alexander with Desmond Tutu and winner Neha Gupta attend the 10th international Childrens peaceaward of Kidsright at the Hall of Knights in The Hague.
The award, an initiative of Marc Dullaert, is annually awarded to a child which dedicate him or herself for Childrights.
The winner, Neha Gupta, received the ‘’Nkosi’’ statue and 100.000 euro for a project in the winners theme.
Neha Gupta (18) lives in Philadelphia (USA) and is founder of the Empower Orphans. What started as a fundraiser in the neighborhood grew into an organization that collected more than $ 1 million and helped over 25,000 children in India and helped in her own country.
